You can also use a mod for cs.. i remembered one called ws that allowed its user to remote admin his server from a web interface.
Try to get anti-csdos.. maybe some punks crashing ur server :/
Use a remote software as vnc, teamviewer or logmein
Change rcon to something more difficult and hard to guess..
If you used to close the lid of your laptop then go to control panel> power options properties> advanced (panel).. change the options for the “when i close the lid…”

go in counter-strike > find servers > favorite > add server ip
try these:
127.0.0.1
localhost
(ip behind router – can be found with ipconfig in cmd) e.g 10.0.0.12 or 192.168.1.12
